This introductory webinar, the first in a series on the Five-Step Program Improvement Process, will provide you with an overview of how to
*conduct a performance gap analysis using your Perkins data and identifying other quantitative and qualitative data sources that can inform your fact finding
*identify the root causes for low participation and completion rates of female students in STEM programs
*select strategies, models and best practices that will increase the participation and completion of female students in STEM related career cluster programs of study
*pilot test and evaluate solutions before attempting full implementation
The remaining webinars in this series will provide more detailed training on each of the steps used in this data driven decision making process. Particularly useful for teams of local high school and college representatives, each session will outline steps for teams to take to implement the Five-Step Program Improvement Process. This same process can be applied to help locals improve their performance on the Perkins IV accountability measure for nontraditional participation and completion. Participate in this overview webinar and join us for the full series over the next five months!
