- Industry Driven Regional Collaboratives - These grants provide funds to local community colleges for flexible, short-term, “design it yourself” local projects and to meet regional business needs, particularly in high growth, emerging technology industries.
- Industry Driven Regional Collaboratives in Economically Distressed Areas - In order to qualify for this grant, the applicant college must have within its boundaries at least one of the economically distressed areas defined in the RFA.
- Job Development Incentive Training Fund - It is the intent of the Legislature that this program provide training on a no-cost or low-cost basis to participating employers who create employment opportunities at an acceptable wage level for the attainment of self-sufficiency or a “living wage” by both welfare recipients and the “working poor.”

US Department of Labor
The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has announced the availability of approximately $10 million in grant funds for new and innovative approaches to meeting the workforce challenges of the advanced manufacturing industry under the President's High Growth Job Training Initiative (http://www.doleta.gov/BRG/JobTrainInitiative/).
